Once Upon a Time.........

There was a girl going about her life, having what she thought was "the time of her life" .....

and a boy (with a crazy dog) going about his.

and their paths crossed, and they started to like each other. And like turned to love...........

and they got engaged to be married.......

And on this day, May 19th, eight years ago...............they were.

It was the beginning of lots of good times, sad times, exciting things and the life of over and over mundane things.
They have two wonderful blessings, that add to their lives, and it is good. God is wonderful and the blessings, and trials that he continues to give us, make us stronger.

Now we both realize, that these truely, are the best times of our lives.

I love you baby!! Happy 8 years. XOXO

~101~

That was my temperature from this stupid mastitis that I got. a.k.a. breast infection. UGH!! I am sooo mad at it. It knocked me on my booty! This girl doesn't like to be knocked out on her booty.
Finally, two days later, I am starting to feel normal again. I'm upset because I missed J's perfomance at school for their "Spring Sing." I hate being confined to bed, and I was def confined. I couldn't even walk. I did a few times to get to the bathroom, and get water, but otherwise me and B kicked it in bed all day long.
Much thanks to Auntie "S" for helping me with J, and giving him company. He had lots of fun! and the soup was FABULOUS!! Just what I needed.

Bennett's Day! and all mother's

Today was a special day for me. My heart is full. Bennett was given his official name at church today and it couldn't have landed on a better day. What a great day to be a Mother! We had a wonderful time today, eating, playing and just enjoying our day. Here are some pictures.

The outfit:

The booties

The Attendees (is that even a word??) why doesn't that seem right?

(and this was only half of my family). We love you all! I'm grateful for big families. Aren't they the best??

and of course what's Mother's day without some beautiful flowers.

Let me just tell you that these were not from my husband. I wish they were. But thank you to the In laws that did bring them. I made the horrible mistake last year commenting on how much he spent on the flowers for some occassion, I can't even remember now, I think it was Mother's day, and well, Now, my husband that used to get flowers for me all the time, never gets them. I wish I would've kept my mouth shut. Stupid me! Take my advice and don't ever tell your husband he got ripped off, or he spent too much on you. LOL Never again. I've learned my lesson. They're pretty though aren't they?

And when everything was send and done, and I was in the Nursery changing Bennett for the last time today, I saw this on his nightstand. This was done by his cousin, my niece. What a sweet little girl. Just too precious!

We love you Baby Bennett!! You are soo special to this family. xoxoxo

6 weeks new

So these top three I am trying to decide what to use for his birth announcement. What one do you like?? I'm trying to find out which one looks more like him.

6 weeks has come and gone! I can not believe it. Where'd the time go?? I guess the days seem to just mush together when you don't know where one day starts and the next one end eh?

He is just as lovable and kissable now at day 45 that he was on day one. Smiles have begin, personality comes through, and a sweet boy, he is for sure! My family says that I am obsessed with nakey baby shots. I wouldn't say obsessed, but I think that you can only do it for a short while and then you can't, so yes! all my children will have naked baby shots. I just think it's precious. Call me sicko, strange, whatever you want, I think it's just a sign of "new" and I like it.
